1997 Caterpillar D8R
This 1997 Caterpillar D8R dozer is a well-maintained, job-ready machine with extensive work completed within the last approximately 800 hours. Major in-frame engine work includes new liners, pistons, rings, rod and main bearings, along with a rebuilt cylinder head and turbo cartridge. Additional updates include a new alternator, new A/C compressor, replaced A/C dryer, rebuilt blade lift cylinders, and new hydraulic hoses on the lift cylinders. The equalizer bar has been align-bored and fitted with new bushings, and the undercarriage has been serviced with idlers and rollers replaced using low-hour, like-new components.
The machine shows approximately 17,740 hours and is reported to have no leaks. Operator comfort has been addressed with new seat cushions and new door seals. This D8R comes with complete service records from the previous owner, along with both the service manual and parts manual. Two extra bottom rollers in near-new condition are also included.
